Cookie Dough Truffles

My love for baking started with my grandmother. She was the queen of cookies. Every week when I came home from school, she would have a fresh batch cooling on the kitchen table. She made cookies for every holiday and special occasion, from sugar cookies in the shape of reindeer, and wedding cookies covered in powdered sugar, to her world-famous oatmeal cookies that practically melted in your mouth.

When Grandma Audrey passed away, I inherited her handwritten recipes.
And I've been baking cookies from scratch since. Recently, I've been searching for a new take on the classic chocolate chip cookie. I think I may have found a great contender...
